Southwest Surgical Center

Insurance and Financial Arrangements

Southwest Surgical Center works with most major insurance carriers. However, we do recommend that you contact your insurance carrier prior to surgery to verify that your procedure is indeed covered, and whether you will have a co-payment.

On the day of surgery, you will be required to pay your deductibles, co-payments and/or co-insurance, based on insurance coverage. * This payment is for the Surgical Center only and your surgeon may require an additional co-payment. You may also get separate bills from your surgeon, anesthesiologist, or other health care service providers involved in your care. We urge you to contact your insurance company, as they will be able to answer any questions you have about benefits and co-insurances.

If you do not have insurance coverage, payment for your services at Southwest Surgical Center is required on or before your date of surgery. Special consideration may be given in cases of financial hardship. Our Business Office employees can assist you in the completion of the required forms to qualify for special consideration. All questions and concerns will remain confidential.

We do accept MasterCard, Visa, personal check, and cash.

*You will receive a letter before surgery outlining your anticipated expenses.
